Getting the most out of Fleetdynamics

Access the Fleetdynamics portal and navigate the main menu.
- Login to the Fleetdynamics portal
- Reset your password
- Navigate the main portal menu

View all your vehicles and their locations on the same map in real-time.
- Identify vehicles on the portal map
- View and interpret vehicle information
- Expand or collapse vehicle information

Navigate the Google map and use its functionality.
- Zoom in and out of the map
- Reposition the map
- Toggle between map views
- Enter street view

Vehicle pins are marked individually by four different colours.
- View and identify a vehicle pin
- Understand a vehicles’ behaviour and activity based on the colour of their pin

Access a vehicles’ location to a particular point.
- Find the closest vehicle to a specific location
- View and interpret vehicle location information
- View and interpret map directions

Locate a vehicle, vehicle information and trip data.
- Display or hide vehicles on the map
- Search for a vehicle and access vehicle information

A geofence (also known as a digital boundary) will allow you to see everything that enters or leaves the area.
- Create a new geofence
- View and interpret geofence information
- Trigger alerts when a vehicle enters or leaves a geofence zone

A Point of Interest (POI) is used to identify locations frequently visited by your business or organisation.
- Create a new point of interest
- Edit an existing point of interest
- Display or hide a point of interest
- View and interpret a point of interest

Access and review a vehicles’ previous trip information and route selection.
- Navigate to the Historic Maps section
- Display or hide the vehicle search tool
- Search for information using the date and vehicle picker
- View and interpret previous trip information
- View and interpret different driver behaviour

Exception reporting shows instances in which actual performance of a vehicle deviates from expectations. These instances are sent as alerts, and are viewable in reports.
- Navigate to the Exceptions section
- View and interpret existing exceptions
- Create a new exception

The most common reason a tracker may not work and send through data, is because the device has been disconnected. The exception “Device Disconnected” ensures that you are notified immediately when a device is disconnected.

Access vehicle data and identify reasoning of missing vehicle data.

- Identifying if a vehicle is turned on
- Identifying if a vehicle has lost mobile connectivity
- Identifying if a device has been disconnected

Generate and view reports containing vehicle data information. Vehicle information can be obtained for the last 7 years.

- Navigate to the Reports section
- Generate a new report
- Export reports as a PDF or CFW file

Update and modify your account details in the Account section of the dashboard.

- Navigate to the Account section
- Update and modify account details
- Enable or disable reporting emails
- Enable or disable FBT logbook emails
- View and edit vehicle and driver information

Enable Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) logbook emails to be sent to your drivers.
